A Tea Cocktail with Gin: Indian Summer

Sometimes, great things happen when strangers get together. This tea cocktail pairs SomruS, a Michigan distilled floral gin, muddled avocado with one of our core flavors (which also happens to be the most expensive ingredient on earth), saffron. If you’re someone who’s ever enjoyed enhancing the earthy-tone of tea with honey, then this is a cocktail you’ll want to curl up with and savor.



Add avocado to shaker and muddle briefly. Add SomruS, gin, tumeric and Honey syrup, matcha tea and ice and shake vigorously. Strain into stemless wine glass and garnish with edible gold leaf and saffron strands. (Homemade Tumeric and Honey syrup – Add 1 lb of scrubbed and sliced turmeric root to 1.5 cups honey and 1.5 cups water. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain and contain. Store in the fridge.)
