Christmas Cocktail Recipe: Mulled SomruS

As a liqueur “steeped” in the flavors of India, we’re all about spice. Naturally, we’re open to adding even more flavors to SomruS. This mulling recipe imbues SomruS with spices like star anise, cloves and cinnamon for a festively warm winter wonder. 

Christmas Cocktail Recipe: Mulled SomruS


  • 12oz SomruS
  • 12oz Milk
  • 8 oz Grand Marnier
  • 3 x cinnamon sticks
  • 3 x cloves
  • 3 x star of anise


Combine SomruS, milk, cloves, cinnamon sticks and star anise in a sauce plan. Warm over a gentle heat until just before simmering (careful as you do not want to burn the milk or the SomruS). Once the heat is controlled, add 8oz Grand Marnier and maintain on low heat for 10mins (ensure the heat is on low as Grand Marnier will ignite when too hot). Move to a warming pot and serve this perfect welcome drink, based on the classic European Glogg, to dear friends during the holidays!
