An Infused SomruS Holiday Cheesecake Recipe

If you’re going to take the time to bake a cheesecake this holiday season, why not add a little SomruS and make it spectacular! This recipe infuses your confection with the rich, decadent flavors of SomruS, graham cracker crumbs, raspberries, cream cheese and ricotta cheese for a dreamy dessert that’ll put the typical Thanksgiving family argument to rest—at least for a few minutes.


  • 4.5oz SomruS
  • 13oz graham cracker crumbs
  • 5 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1lb ricotta cheese
  • 8oz package of cream cheese
  • Fresh raspberries
  • 4 eggs
  • 5/8 cup sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp salt


Grease the inside of a springform pan. Mix the crumbs & softened butter together until well blended. Press mixture to the bottom and sides of the pan. Place in refrigerator to chill. Preheat oven to 325° F. Combine ricotta & cream cheese in a bowl, beating until smooth. Fold in SomruS and remaining ingredients & continue beating until smooth. Pour mixture in to the chilled crumb pan. Place the cheesecake on a shallow pan of water about 1⁄2 inch deep & bake for 1 ¼ hour or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool for about 20-30 minutes & then loosen the springform. When cooled, remove cheesecake & let it rest. Garnish with fresh raspberries.
